Pivot Table Page Break

Hi,

What is the best way to rename items within the pivot page break?

I set up a consolidated pivot table to consolidate all the months. The workbook was setup up one sheet per month.

In the creation of the consolidated pivot, I chose to create 1 page break. I then renamed the page break into "MONTH".

The items within the page break are months. They were then renamed to the appropriate months. I renamed the item by selecting the item and overwriting the cell. However, when I refreshed the data the renamed months reverted back to the original name which was "Item 18".

How can this be overcome?

What do you mean by "refresh"?

Sorry I have not responded for a while Mark.
I went into the pivot table wizard after changing the item names. I amended the ranges to consolidate, but when I clicked on refresh, the item that I changed the range had its item name revert back to "Item 18" from its previous name (the name of the month that I changed the name to).

Hope this is enough detail....

Unfortunately, redefining a consolidation range removes customized item labels.
