Pivot Table Question

Hello, I think i've encountered something that doesn't happen too often and I can't find a solution in any general pivot table guide.

I have data that corresponds to left/right with a date for each point. Some of the dates repeat in my data, for example two or three different readings were taken on the same day. I'm using the pivot table to arrange my data as it was originally in a very strange layout.

The problem i'm having is that on the dates where two or more readings have been taken the pivot table will either sum or average these values together (depending on the option chosen). What I need is a list, without my values having any operations performed on them...just being arranged into the useful format that I need. So ideally when more than one reading corresponds to the same day then that date would just repeat and list the values individually, or the date would be shown once in the date column then blank spaces that correspond to where the extra readings are etc.

Is there a way to just list my data like this without the pivot table calculating operations such as average or sum?

Thanks for any help, i'll continue to play with it in the meantime to see if I can find anything

Excel Facts

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
The solution to display text in that video won't work for me. I need mine in the data section as the pivot table is re-arranging the data for me into a format that I can use.

Conditional formatting also wont work as the only data that I would make 'invisible' would be data that I need.

I just need to be able to list my data without performing any calculations on it. I'm surprised that they haven't included something that simple, maybe it's too logical. But I guess the usual way people use pivot tables their data is already arranged the way they want.

From what i've seen it just isn't possible to do what I want.
