Hi,

I am creating a pivot table and having trouble with repeating numbers when I change it to tabular form. For example I have number "004" for the ingredient "broccoli", and they are both placed in the Row Labels Field. I changed the Report Layout to Tabular Form so that they can be seen next to each other on the pivot table, however, the total "004 total" shows up under the number "004", making the pivot table seemed cluttered. I do not need the "004 total" row. I have tried to get rid of all grand totals, but it won't go away. Insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Erika

I have a bunch of different ingredients and each are assigned a number:

004 cheese
293 broccoli
324 peppers
894 ham
487 butter

I want them to show up next to each other as shown above, however they are showing up like this:

004
004 total cheese
293
293 total broccoli
324
324 total peppers
894
894 total ham
487
487 total butter

They are both in the Row Labels field as I stated before. I hope this helps. If you need anymore details, let me know. Thanks!

If I understand correctly you want to see your data like pivot 1b.
If so Rightclick eg in above example cell D6 (004 Total), then select Field Settings, Select Subtotals none. That should give you pivot 1b.
