HI there VBA pros,
I have been using a excel system for 2 years now, it has over 150 Pivot tables in it, and because I wasn't that clued up with excel back them i am getting alot of "pivot table can not update due to overlapping cells" meaning that I didnt set up the below cells correctly. and because the info box that pops up to tell me this does show me the location and the name of the pivot table due the the length of the names, It takes me ages to find the pivot table.
I am looking for a way to find the PT that the challenge is( i.e. there is another PT below it and it cant update due to the location of the below PT as the info will over lap. ) and automatically move anything (including the current region of that data and any other data that may be effected, and move all those contents down by the amount of cells that will be effected up the initial PT update display range.
I know this is a very complex task, so the above request is the best case. however I would be very happy with just knowing the PT and its location of the WB (maybe unhide and select that worksheet) so I can manually update the real-estate.
I really look forward to any and all responses.
Kindest Regards,
