Can someone tell me why my row labels in my pivot are displaying the words "Row Labels" intead of the actual name that is assigned??

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
This happens when the report layout is "Compact" Form.
If the layout is "Outline" or "Tabular" Form, the assigned names are displayed.

Only guessing here, but that pattern would suggest that the designers thought it would
be better to use "Row Labels" instead of a field name, since there can be more than one field sharing that column.

You can edit that cell to rename the column after creating the PivotTable.
