Pivot table sorting dates

Hi there,
I've created a pivot table to show me the number of kits sold by date (dd/mm/yyyy), and although the data is sorted properly in the spreadsheet, the pivot table is changing the sort rules so that the dates are sorted by dd then mm and doesn't seem to be paying any attention to yyyy. I would like the chart to show me dates chronologically. What am I doing wrong?

Your dates in the database are formatted as dates or text?

Could you post a sample of your data, 10 - 15 rows?

To post your data, select a relevant part of your database including headers, put borders, copy (Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) in the forum reply-page.

Here's the data. I was careful to format the column as dates, and I was surprised to see that the format didn't appear to change, but I assumed it did in terms of how Excel saw it.

The 1 in the right column is only there to provide a count.

Yes, and my pivot table gives me the right total, however the chart is not organized chronologically. The dates appear at the x-axis sorted in a seemingly random fashion - Not by month, or by number of kits sold. Any ideas?

My chart is ok. I dont know what can be wrong with your data. Try to re-check the dates' format
