Hello,
I am a new user of pivot table. Could you explain, what are the difference between Pivot Charts Vs Regular Charts?
Thanks

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
That's a very generic question.
Basically, a pivot chart only has data series from a pivot table. Regular charts are build on data series from a range/table or even "name manager".
Hence, you can't add data series on a pivot chart from another source then the pivot. Something you can do with a regular chart.

Pivot charts also come with "Field Buttons", which can easily be hidden.
Pivot charts usually do not need much data preparation, as aggregates are done by the pivot. Making the same chart based on raw data requires you make the aggregates via formulas. Though you can make regular charts on pivot data as well.

A good resource to start learning about pivot table is Excel Pivot Table Index.
