Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
You need to create a third table, with three columns: Flow type, Date, Amount. In the Flow type column, enter "Inflow" or "Outflow" in each row.

So for example if you have 20 rows in your Inflow table, and 30 rows in your outflow table, then you will have 50 rows in the new table.

Go back to your underlying raw data, stick the two seperate sets of data together on one sheet and add a new column that shows "inflow" and "outflow". You can now pivot by this to show both categories
