1.hey after creating the pivot table,i want to total certain selected items from the pivot table and show them separately in the same excel sheet ,how can we do it , as the cell does not allow me to add up the items , is it possible ?
2.Also while creating a pivot table, how can we show min of some value and max of some value

Without seeing your data or pivottable or examples of what you want, I can only guess. Guess 1:
Group items together to get a subtotal of a subset.

Guess 2: You can add a field to the data area more than once, and set the field settings to be max in one and min in the other.
