Is there a way to add a calculated field that uses data from two different columns? In the image below, here is the formula i need to create: (Gross Demand-Incremental Demand)/Gross Demand.

I cant figure this out in excel 2007....

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
In 2007, after you've made the pivot table, in the PivotTableTools Options ribbon, the Tools section (after Actions before Show/Hide) choose Formulas. This will drop down and give the option of Calucated Fields. A window pops up. Give your new field a name, then build your formula like you have it shown:
= (Gross Demand-Incremental Demand)/Gross Demand

You can click them in from the Fields list below or just type them in. Now you should have a new field in your field list to choose.

In 2003 is the Formulas option under the Pivot Table menu from the Pivot Table tool bar.

this does not work because Gross Demand and Incremental Demand are not their own fields. You'll notice in the image that there is a category called "Gross" that contains Demand, Orders, and AOV, then another Category called "Incremental" that contains Demand, Orders, and AOV.

I am trying to take the Demand subcategory of Gross and the Demand subcategory of Incremental and perform the aforementioned calculation.
