placement of excel comments

By default, the comments appear to the right of the cell, is there a way to have them appear to the left of the cell? I have tried to edit them and physically move them but when you put your cursor over the cell, they still appear to the right.

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
On the mac hold down the option key and the command (a.k.a the apple) key and move the comment to where ever you want it. A menu then comes up just select move here. If you are on a Win-Tel machine try the control key and the alt key at the same time.
