Hello all,

Let's say I have a data series of GPS displacement values over time.

date | North | East | Up | adj (m) | adj (ft)
2/11/2000 -2591457.302 -4548112.793 3633016.7537 0.0000 0.0000
2/12/2000 -2591457.309 -4548112.792 3633016.7556 0.0019 0.0062
2/13/2000 -2591457.309 -4548112.808 3633016.7676 0.0139 0.0456
2/14/2000 -2591457.31 -4548112.816 3633016.7837 0.0300 0.0984

I want to plot "up" (vertical) on a graph, with one side showing feet, and the other showing meters. I've tried having two separate data series (as shown above), and have one of them as a secondary axis, but the plots don't line up.

All I really want is a single plot, but meters on one side, feet on the other...

Kind of like this, but with one line...

thanks in advance

Excel Facts

Test for Multiple Conditions in IF?
Use AND(test, test, test, test) or OR(test, test, test, ...) as the logical_test argument of IF.
Plot your data on one axis, then plot any dummy point in a second series, just enough to put on the secondary axis. It doesn't have to mimic the primary series. Hide this point (no marker, no line, etc.).

You can't rely on Excel's axis autoscaling. Manually scale the primary axis to fit the data. Manually scale the secondary axis so its min and max are related to the primary min and max by the conversion factor.
