Hello,
I have a plotting question that may have a simple answer. I have a column of dates and another column of part numbers. When I try and plot this data (with the date on the x-axis, and the part numbers on the y-axis) I cannot get an accurate scatter plot (it seems like excel is not recognizing the part numbers are different values).
As a note, there are only two different part numbers but all the dates are different.
I hear that I can assign numerical values to these part numbers so that excel will plot the numerical values in place of the part numbers, but I am not sure how to do this (something to do with a legend?). I put the data I'm using below. I would appreciate any help that you would be able to give. Thank you!
Have a great day!
