Hi Guys,

Bit of a novice here, so apologies in advance if this isn't worded overly well.

I have a master budget document that I have to enter variations too. I am bringing in the tabs for the variation into the master budget sheet . i have created a simple SUMIF function to draw the info from the new tab into the master budget. I want to be able to set this up in such a way that i create all the formulas but they dont activate until the tab is drawn in. at the moment i am having to drag across and manually change the Tab reference name. As you can see below I get a #value error if the tabs sheet isn't added, I have also tried to replace ( for example V4 with a new V4 tab) with no joy. I'm finding I have to manually change verything all the time, very time cosuming.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Hi,
You want to get rid of the #VALUE error and leave it empty? and when the V4 sheet is added you then want it to show the value?

try this:
=IFERROR(SUMIF('V2'!$B$5:$B$5110;$C22;'V2'!$T$5:$T$5110);"")
or this:
=IFERROR(=SUMIF('V2'!$B$5:$B$5110,$C22,'V2'!$T$5:$T$5110)),"")
