Popup to enter data into multiple cells??

I've been working on a google sheets spreadsheet that keeps track of our annual golf trip. During use, a user must enter scores for each player in their group. Thus, they must click on 4 different cells (one for each player) to enter the scores for each hole.

I'm wondering if there is a way to click on one cell, and a popup comes up where the user can enter all 4 scores and not have to click on each individual cell.

If this is possible, what should I search for (the technical term for what I'm trying to do) so I can find some direction on how to achieve this? Not looking for someone to do the work for me but I've come up empty on trying to find the help I need.

Thanks in advance!

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
If your scorecard is set up similar to the picture below, you could use the SPLIT function in Cell B3 and copy it down. The user would then just enter the scores in the correct order separated by a comma.

=IF(F3="","", SPLIT(F3,","))

Thanks for the reply, this could work however I was hoping for something a bit more user friendly. I may be asking to much but I'm not sure how far you can take customized scripts etc. What I'm trying to do is something like the photo attached where it shows each player and their score for the hole.
