position command buttons

I have a number of buttons on a worksheet. I can size and align them but not set left and top position. is there a way to do this?
Is there a way to position these buttons with VBA?

Yes. I always find that type of task to be easiest by recording a macro doing such and then modifying/fine tuning that macro after the fact.
