Hello there,

By default, the Windows calculator will show on the upper left hand corner of the screen. I am using a macro to invoke Calculator, so, if I use this code:

Code:
Private Sub GetCalculatorBtn_Click()
Dim GetWinCalc

GetWinCalc = Shell("CALC.EXE", 1)

End Sub

Is there anyway to affect the positioning of where Calculator appears? Center perhaps? Thank you. (y)

Since you are using the shell command to invoke the calculator, I don't think you can pass parameters(ie. Center). You would need to work with the calculators default options, but I don't believe you can control the calculator positioning. I tested where mine appears in Win 2000, and the calculator just seems to show up in a random location in the upper left quaderant of the screen???? Don't know why it does that.

Thanks Cbrine. I agree with you. I thought I post anyway to see if there is a way. With as much talent as we get in this forum I thought it would be worth a try. Thanks for the quick response. :biggrin:
