Hi
when I do a link between power point and excel ( with special paste), I have this message 'the linked file was not available and could not be updated.'
how can I connect a excel file with power point with automatic update, (without this error) ?

Hi danbitton,

Copy the chart from Excel (right click, then copy), then paste it into the PowerPoint sheet you need 'Keep Source Formatting & Link Data'

Works for me, even after closing the Excel sheet. (make sure the excel file is on the same 'drive/network' as your PPT file)

Let me know how you get on...
