Power Query "waiting for (website)"

Hi all, hoping someone can assist as I literally started using power query yesterday.

I'm pulling some data from a website using their API function (I've got an API key which is free and the key has not reached the allocated limit).
I've created a power query & filtered off what I don't need.
My problem is the query randomly decides to get stuck on "waiting for this website you're querying"

After a fair few minutes of the above I get this error:

HOWEVER - the data will sometimes pull through.
I also noticed the data will always pull through after I turn on my laptop in the morning.
And if it gets stuck on "waiting for", then a restart won't help, but a longer shutdown will. As though it's a cache problem?

I've done some looking online and no one seems to have the exact same issue, but I have tried some suggestions I thought may be relevant.
I've re-done this query with no filters, but I'm getting the same issue.
I've increased the cache memory on power query options to 9999 (up from 4000ish).
I've turned on "get data quickly".
Everything with the name "Microsoft" has been allowed through my firewall + "Excel" itself.

PLEASE, someone help me! I'm losing my mind :D

My source is:
Header=X-CMC_PRO_API_KEY
API Key= I don't think I should share that xD

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
RESOLVED!

Turns out it may have been AVG free antivirus somehow stopping the connection after a short delay every time.
Replaced AVG with another antivirus & have had no refreshing issues for 2 days now.
