I have imported the Demo.txt file from the PowerPivotSampleData.zip
There are 1,098.216 Blanks dates cells and 714,672 with dates.
Is there a bug in PowerPivot or the Demo.txt file??

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Thanks for your note.

The dates in the file are in the format of MM/DD/YYYY.

Do your date settings require DD/MM/YYYY?

I am guessing this would cause many of the dates to be perceived as invalid.

I can work on spinning up a demo.txt with dates in the other format. Drop me a note to bill at mrexcel.com.
