Powerpivot - data won't populate table despite connection

Over the past few months, I have been working with a file using Powerpivot, and until recently the data was populating the table as it should. Recently, a change was made to the data model that redefined some of the fields within the data model. As of today, the link between my main data table and one of the views within the model as shown within the diagram view is still functional, but when I use a field from that view, none of the data comes through. Additionally, the field title is showing up as it always has within the Powerpivot manage portion of the file, but the title displaying in the PivotTable Fields Task Pane is a completely different title.

I have no idea how such changes would even take place; anyone have any past experience with similar issues?
