PowerPivot

Hi

I'm very new to PowerPivot, I've read most of the book and I'm now beginning to try little things to expand my knowledge.

I've linked two tables now and I've created the relationship successfully, I've created a pivot table which has fields for both tables (which is totally fab!), but I can't get the dates in the column fields to group. I right click on the field as usual and the group option is greyed out!

Any ideas?

Thanks Andrew, I've had a read but it doesn't seem to cover my problem, thanks for trying.

The group option is greyed out, I just don't know why.

Every example I've read about suggests it shouldn't be greyed out.
