If you open PowerPoint and click on 'Help' you could search for "short cuts".
This should give you links to several pages of hints and tips.
I tried it for PowerPoint 2010 and found several Microsoft online videos that you would find useful. If you cannot find anything like that for 2007, look at those for 2010 as there shouild be very little difference.
