How, using VBA, can I prevent a user who is currently signed on from signing on from another PC or their own PC?

A stick works great :)

My first thought is that you really can't using the built-in tools.

One way might be to build a form that requires a login and have it check a log of users that currently logged in - logic from there depends on what you'd want/need.

A better way is to actually look at the lock file and review who's actively connected and who is not. You'd probably still have to control access via a form.

This utility was really designed for something else but the Access2000 code modules ought to still be a valid example of how to get the information.

You sure you can't just use a stick?
