Hi,

Can I print row headings on a page but not the Column headings? How to do it?

Thank you!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Sure you can.

In Excel 2003, on Page Setup, Sheet tab, specify "Rows to print at top" but don't specify any "Columns to print at left".

Menu paths might be different in other versions of Excel, but the principle will be the same.

Hi,

I think I made a mistake in my wording of the question! Sorry.

What I meant was I want to print the row NUMBERS - but not the column letters. I want to show the reader that there are 591 entries in my spreadsheet. That is important. Seeing the letters of the columns is not important (and doesn't look nice on the page either).

That's what I meant. Can I do this?

Thanks,
NIRAV

Oh I see.

In that case, I would use a helper column, to show the row number in the spreadsheet.
To make sure it does indeed show the correct row number, even if you insert or delete rows, you can use the =ROW() function.
