I am trying to copy text and gridlines from Excel and paste them into a Word doc. When I do I am able to see the gridlines on the screen, but when I print the document the gridlines will not appear. I went into Excel and choose gridlines in page setup, but they still won't print. How can I print the girdlines. Using table in Word will not work.

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
Hi Thomas,

When you paste into Word, you have a few options. Paste will generally dump the contents as a graphic.
Try Edit > Paste Special and see if you have the option to paste as an Excel object. That should keep the formatting.
