Printing Problems with Dotted Line Formatting

Hi Everyone

We have upgraded from 2003 to 2010. However, we have discovered that when we create new excel spreadsheets and use the lowest border to frame cells - the dotted line, our printers print these lines as lines - not dotted. We are an engineering firm with all the latest updates to our systems and our printers, and we can't seem to get these to print correctly.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated or acknowledgment that this is a new glitch with Excel 2010.

Thanks
Hilary A

Using a mouse in Excel is the work equivalent of wearing a lanyard when you first get to college
I just tested with Excel 2010 and my HP DeskJet 5940 and the borders are printed dotted - but only just, I had to look very carefully to see that they were not continuous lines.
