I am trying to set up a shared document that I can always write to and edit, while other people can view and changes I have saved. My problem is if people open it before I do, I have to enter into "read-only" mode. I want to be able to open it, and even if its open by someone else, I still am the only one with write access to it. I realize what I do while they are looking at it won't be seen until they re-open it, but is this possible.

Also I can't figure out how to make a sheet NOT password protected.

I am running Excel 2010. Any help is appreciated.
