I want to add to repairman's solution: cells' format must be Text.

Try

Code:
Sub AddAZero()

Dim cell As Range
Dim LR As Long
LR = Range("A" & Rows.Count).End(xlUp).Row

    For Each cell In Range("A1:A" & LR)
        cell.NumberFormat = "@"
        cell.Value = "0" & cell.Text
    Next cell

End Sub

    [COLOR="Blue"]While[/COLOR] [COLOR="Blue"]Not[/COLOR] IsEmpty(Cells(i, 1))
        [COLOR="Blue"]With[/COLOR] Cells(i, 1)
            .NumberFormat = "@"
            .Value = "0" & .Text
        [COLOR="Blue"]End[/COLOR] [COLOR="Blue"]With[/COLOR]
        i = i + 1
    [COLOR="Blue"]Wend[/COLOR]

[COLOR="Blue"]End[/COLOR] [COLOR="Blue"]Sub[/COLOR]

VoG, if there's gap, it won't stop 'cause you define last row from bottom to top.
