Problem Referencing a Pivot Table.

Using Excel 2003;
I have a pivot table that has a Grand Totals Column. I am trying to
reference that complete column in another sheet. (I do some Countif &
Sumif Formulas on that column) Everything works fine until the source
data changes and the pivot gets updated, which either shrinks or
enlarges the pivot table. When this happens my links to the Grand
Totals Column aren’t valid anymore.
Can I reference the Column as a whole and have any changes reflected when the source data changes?
Thanks for any help. <!-- / message --><!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig --><!-- END TEMPLATE: ad_showthread_firstpost_sig -->

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
I'm not sure i understand the question... Once the Pivot Table was initially created I referenced the Totals Column like this
=COUNTIF(G5:G23,">1")
However when the source data changes the Totals may be in column F instead of G and/or the number of rows will change also.
So I am at a loss as to how to accomodate these recurring changes when ever the table is updated.
