So I copied & pasted a few hundred drop down menus from a website into excel and everything was going fine...until I saved/closed and reopened the sheet, which now has excel spazzing out.

A few screenshots...

And sometimes it'll do sth like this, appearing partially in the upper-left corner of my desktop...

When I go to Developer > Design Mode and click on the drop downs the formula bar reads:

=EMBED("Forms.HTML:Select.1","")

Looks like they're all the same.

It's very slow to startup when opened, and sometimes I get a prompt saying I don't have enough resources to display all the data, but yet task manager/etc shows plenty available. Also it never had a problem displaying all the data prior to closing the sheet for the 1st time.

Any ideas?

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes

I'm on XP btw.

At this point I'm thinking the format is just not compatible, but it's odd that it works fine before being closed & reopened.</bump>
