I have a word document Letter that I am performing a mail merge with Excel. The Excel spread sheet is very basic. I am trying to get a merge field such as 0.50 and 0.80 to merge exactly that way in the letter. but instead they merge into the letter looking like the following - 0.80000000000000004 instead of 0.80. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
In the Word document use switches in the mail merge fields to format the data.

The Help files lists the various switches/formats you can use.

Switches

I see the help menu but no where does it say how to input or where to input the switch.
