Problem with OLE automation and excel.chart.8

I have a problem using a graph that was probably created using an excel.chart.8 automation (when i select the chart, the formula is as follow : =INCORPORATE("Excel.Chart.8".""). We have a file where we need to update the data that is linked to it. Normaly, we would double-click the chart to open the window where the graph is and where the data is in another tab. Unfortunately, when i try the same process, Excel tells me that there was an error accessing the file and that the connexion to the network might have been lost. Also, it says it can't start the source application of the object.

Can anyone please help me on this issue!
