Problems with autofilter macro

We are using Excel 2000, when we create a macro to run a custom autofilter (which works when run normally) Excel shows no results and does not produce an error message. We have looked at the VBA and the macro is selecting the correct column and criteria. Can anyone help please?

Try removing the , Operator:=xlAnd

We tried removing it, but it didn't make any difference
