I am trying to build a productivity spreadsheet. Im column D I am entering hours flagged. Pay rates are different for different hours. I would like to build a "productif" formula such as =IF(D1>=50,"D1*26",IF(D1>=45,"D1*25",IF(D1>=40,"D1*24",IF(D1>=35,"D1*23",IF(D1<35,"D1*21"))))). I can not find a way to make this work. I tried starting with =PRODUCT(... and closing with CSE but that gave me an errror also. Is this type of formula possible?

Your nested IFs should work if you remove the quotes....or a little shorter

=IF(D1>=50,26,IF(D1>=45,25,IF(D1>=40,24,IF(D1>=35,23,21))))*D1
