Hello,
I am new at excel. I am trying to come up with a sheet that I know my standard rate for production. For example
for 7 people on one line is required to make 1200 pieces in 8 hours for 100% efficiency. So that’s 171.428 per per person In 8 hours Or 21.45 per person per hour I would like if at all possible to be able to change the number of people I have in a dropdown and it calculates what my target is for 8 hours at 100%. I would also need where I can change my total pieces per hour to show different percentages. If I have 3 people at 21.54 per hour= 64.35 X 8= 514.8 total production at 100%. so let’s say I put 3 people at the total production with 257.4 is 50% not sure where to start or if it can be done.

thanks

Build a model like above and enter the following formula in E2 and copy it down

=A2*B2*C2*D2

Green cells where you change your number. For example, you may to reduce hours to 7 per staff and see the impact on your output.

By changing Efficiency cells, you can see its impact on the output.

Kind regards
