Hi,

I think I've gathered its possible from various google searches, but I'm struggling to get the one I want added. I want to programatically add the reference

Microsoft Active X Data Objects 2.8 Library

to the activeworkbook..

The correct code, whilst I have some hair left, would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
Hi,

Thanks for the reply, that worked with your ID number thanks :)

Forgoing any of the error checking ..

Code:
strGUID = "{2A75196C-D9EB-4129-B803-931327F72D5C}"

    ActiveWorkbook.VBProject.References.AddFromGuid _
    GUID:=strGUID, Major:=1, Minor:=0
