I have a macro that does a ton of things on a data set. This dataset is massive and I need to run the macro on a user-specified day.

How can I prompt the user for this?

To minimize user error I want it to have three dropdowns:
"Month"
containing: Jan, Feb, ... Dec

"Day"
containing: 1, 2, ..., 31

"Year"
containing: 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008

Is there a way a prompt could come up after this asking the user to confirm the date they selected...if they say "No" then go back and change it and if they say "Yes" then proceed.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Sounds like you need to use a UserForm from the VBA Screen.

You can add drop downs (combo box) x 3 to give you day number month name and year and then a command button to trigger the event base on the date selected.
