Protect formatting

I have an input sheet to a model that is fairly nice formatted. Since there are many rows of input people tend to copy and paste data into the model (and they should). Is it possible to protect the formatting somehow, since even if the sheet is protected the formatting can be changed by pasting numbers from another source?

You could have another sheet reflect back to that one. Would that help?

Not quite sure what you mean? Do you mean adding another input sheet where I don't care about formatting which then feeds the "real" input sheet?

Of course possible, but perhaps not really what I would like to do.
