Protect Headers?

I'm trying to protect my worksheet so that only a few select cells can be edited. I've inserted the word "DRAFT" as a header to look like a watermark and I don't want anyone else to be able to change it.

So basically, how can I protect the headers in my document? I really need some help on this one...

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
Hi CherryxDarling,

Select all cells, goto Format Cells, select Protection, and Un-Check Locked and click ok.

Then select the cell which contains your header, then goto Format Cells, select Protection, check Locked and click ok.

Then select Protection and set a password.

Okay but how do you select the cells which contain the headers? Aren't the headers above the cells?

Hi CherryxDarling,

Sorry, I got the impression your header was on the sheet, but I now understand you are refering to the Print Header which comes under print set up.

I'm not sure how you would do that.

Sorry
