I’m trying to protect each line of data after the data is entered
(So if you enter data you can’t go back and change it, but you can go to the next Row.
I know it’s done with Unprotect and Protect, but when I put the code in, it Protect the hole sheet.
Please help if you can
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p> </o:p>
Thanks

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
You need to Lock the cells after data is entered!
Unlock the cells in Columns where data is entered
Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
   Me.Unprotect "password"
   Target.Locked = True
   Me.Protect "password"
End Sub
lenze
