Hi Guys,

I've got a spreadsheet that I'll update manually every day. Is there a way of excel protecting the cells I enter once I've saved the spreadsheet so I can't write over them? If it's too complicated say so because I've got to do it 8 times over!

Kind Regards

Jonathan

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
Whats the purpose, if you open the workbook again or move to another sheet you wont be able to edit?

I just don't want them to be able to delete a line once it's been entered, don't mind if this is when the sheet closes but people might try and hide what they've done in the past and I want to be able to lock the cells so they can't do this! Even if they lock at the time this would be great!

Oh and thanks for taking the time to reply, very much appreciated in my time of need!
