Is there an easy way to protect cells inside a worksheet but not protect the whole worksheet in Excel2007? Looking to protect, for example, cells with formulas and not the other ones.

Thank you

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
You can select which cells you want protected by going into "FORMAT CELLS" and then the "PROTECTION" tab. First highlight those cells you want unprotected or protected...and tick the "LOCKED" option accordingly. Obviously...be sure the "LOCKED" option is not checked if you're wanting the cells unprotected.

Welcome to the Board!

And if you have a lot of formulas you can use Goto-->Special-->Formulas to select them all at once instead of manually.
