Protecting Worksheets from being Deleted

Is there a way to protect worksheets (tabs) from being deleted in Excel 2000? (note, worksheet, not workbooks).

This problem has bene brought about by an important worksheet that is being deleted by accident by employees every month.

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
