Hello,
I need to index and match but my 1st spreadsheet is colour coded,
Is there a way that those colours can be pulled through onto the index and match formula?

I have also tried conditional formating with index and match as the formula, but it only brings back one colour, I have 8

Thanks in advance

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
Thanks for your quick reply

Is there anything, like a function (conditional formatiing) which could use the index and match formula within in?

If the source cells are coloured by conditional formatting you can use the same format condition(s) in the target cells.

No unfortunatley it was quite a manual process colour coding the sheet.
All I can find on Google is something similar to HTML codes?
