Hiya all!

Another question.

I have a column that counts column G and highlights duplicate values. Now I would like to have the next column pull all the dates for the duplicate values.

So, we're talking about parking tickets here. Column G has the license plate #. Column A has the date of the ticket. Column M has the duplicate values highlighted. How do I pull all the dates from column A into Column N so I can easily tell what dates each ticket was received. If possible I would like to convert the date into day format. This is to help us see if there is the same car parking every friday at our resort for local events and not as a guest of the resort.

Thanks for everything. You all are truly amazing!

Tara

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Hiya,

no, not quite. So say column G has 1ABC234 as a license plate on three occasions. column A would then have the date of each occasion. let's say 05/01/11, 05/03/11, 05/04/11. So What I want in column N is those three dates to appear. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Tara

Hi...

I will tell you.. what i'm understand. if it is any mistake let me know..

1. Date will be appear in Column A. ("01:01:11")
2. Number Plate of car will be in Column G. ("007")
3. if the same car ("007") will come to the resort 3 days in a week ("01:01:11"), ("02:01:11") and ("03:01:11"). So all the 3 dates will be in Column A
4. you need all these 3 dates in Column N continuously (in 1st 3rows).

Hiya!

Thanks for taking interest in my thread and replying so quickly!

You've almost got it. I need those three dates to appear in Column N. So If the offending license plate was in column G12, G14, & G20 then I would want all three dates to appear in N12, N14, & N20. So just by looking at G12 I could see the other dates the car was ticketed.

Thanks Again!

Hiya,

Hang on, i'm going to adjust the cells to post here in a reasonable format. i'm at work and don't have access to google docs or excel jenie. But i want the ALL three of the dates in Column N so I don't have to look at each individual cell.

Thanks,
Tara

DATE .........PLATE#...#TICKETS
5/11/2011 A602ZB 4
5/22/2011 A602ZB 4
5/26/2011 A602ZB 4
6/9/2011 A602ZB 4
5/26/2011 AJ54181 4
5/27/2011 AJ54181 4
6/13/2011 AJ54181 4
6/26/2011 AJ54181 4
4/21/2011 AX37461 6
5/5/2011 AX37461 6
5/10/2011 AX37461 6
5/16/2011 AX37461 6
5/17/2011 AX37461 6
5/21/2011 AX37461 6
5/3/2011 dealer 5
5/9/2011 dealer 5
5/18/2011 dealer 5
5/21/2011 Dealer 5
8/2/2011 DEALER 5

So this is the filtered view, which I'm trying to avoid having to do. I would like in the next column for the License plate #A602ZB 05/11,05/22,05/26,06/09

Does that make sense?

Thanks,
Tara
