Here is what I want to create:
a formula that does this: if b1="xyz" then put "abc" into cell c1 where c1 is completely devoid of any data. In other words, have a function that "pushes" data into a blank cell based on a value that is entered into a completely different cell without creating a formula in the complete empty cell.
For example
If $B1 > 0 then put 92 in $C1; but $C1 is completely empty.
$C1 must remain clear of any formulas or numbers because it is the x-axis in a graph. If there was a formula in $C1 like =if($B1>0,92,""), excel sees this as "data" and will put a space on the graph for that data point even though $B1 is blank, which I dont want. I want the graph to "grow" each week when the data is entered in $B1
