Howdy folks. I did a search, and found multiple listings for how to display when the file was modified, but what I hope to accomplish is to have a cell (ex B2) display the date another cell (ex C2) was modified. I'm working on a document that will let all users (one per row, listed in A column) update C column with notable accomplishments, and have B column (which will be locked) show the date each respective person made an entry. Bearing in mind that I'm working with a lot of non-excel-savvy people, if it can be done via function vs VB entry, that would be best, and it will need to work without enabling any special functions/permissions each time the document is opened (like the little security banner).
If this has already been addressed elsewhere, please point me in the right direction as I did not see it during my search. Thanks in advance.

P.S. There are three sheets in the document that will all need to have the same setup, if that makes a difference.

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
