QR Code and Data Entry in Excel

Hi all,

can anyone please advise if by scanning a QR code (by an app installed on a phone), information then can be entered in an Excel? let's say, I scan the qr code on a bus and i am brought to an excel where i have to enter the mileage on the bus on that day.

any help, much appreciated.
