Query tables get a name definition by default (Insert/Name/Define).

Very often when I refresh a query table, either manually or with VBA, the name definition changes such that several spaces are entered between the "=" sign and the rest of the text describing the query name definition range.

Why? How can I stop this?

The effect is that the query table will no longer refresh. If you remove the spaces BEFORE SAVING, you can save your query. If you save, it's gone.

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
